Introduction

COMET searchers for a muon rare process, mu-e conversion with highly intense pulused muon beam provided at J-PARC.

Detector and Bridge solenoid magnets installation completed in Dec. 2025.

Detector and Bridge solenoids have arrived at the COMET Hall in Oct. 2025.

Detector solenoid installation started in Aug. 2025. Work in progress!

The COMET collaboration is composed of more than 290 researchers from 48 insitutes.
